I was born into an Air Force family and spent the first 15 years of my life traveling and experiencing many different cultures (during my "informative" years). We moved to St Charles, Mo. in 1968 when my Dad retired; I've been here ever since.
I picked up my first guitar while living in Okinawa at the age of 11. There I learned the basics of reading sheet music and gained an appreciation for classical style guitar. Over the years I've learned the value of many styles of music; most songs deliver a message and when I hear one that speaks to me, I keep it and make it mine. It's just me, my voice and the guitar; my sound is enjoyable to listen to and is always my pleasure to perform.

Scott Laytham’s skills as a musician, arranger, and composer, are well known in the St. Louis area. Besides his live performances, Scott has also produced music for both local and national radio and television ads.
