Michael’s
Signature
Red
(An
Estate
Wine -
grown
and
bottled
right
here)
“ In 1912, my grandparents Maria Grazia and Michael Berlmonte sailed from southern
Italy to Ellis Island under the shadow of Lady Liberty, destined to find a better life for their future family.
This classic red wine was created in honor of my grandfather who inspired us to preserve the traditions of wine making for one and all to enjoy. -Ken Miller
Michael’s Signature Red is a medium-bodied dry red wine with a taste of ripe fruit, berry tones and a touch of smoke. This is a Sugar Creek wine. From new vine to late harvest, fermentation to the final product, every bottle begins and ends in the hands of the family who owns the land, works the land and lives there. Every vintage is crafted by Sugar Creek’s winemaker, Chris Lorch, who spent years honing his winemaking style in Napa Valley. Today he and his family work to turn the challenge of an ill-tempered climate and the tough grapes born and raised to survive it, into great wine that is uniquely Missouri.

La
Rustica
White
“White magic sweet nectar moonshine truth serum to a one day magic carpet ride
snow cone buzz – liquid arrow at the heart of an all night festival.
Unchained animals dancing like fire gods -
as all good spirits ride the hours away by the grape drawn chariot"
Friendly blend of Vidal/Seyval grapes, fermented in stainless steel. Slightly sweet and fruity start with a dry finish. Great with shell fish, chicken, cream sauces, salads, cheeses, and fruit.
Birdlegs Blush
“It was a star-studded night in the middle of July. The patio was crowded and the music just right.
She was perched in a chair with a cat by her side when her face turned the color of that
pink summer wine. It must have started in her toe and climbed its way up, because
her foot started tappin' and those legs began to go.
Like two rubber bands with a mind of their own"
Chambourcin grape fermented in stainless steel. Skins of grapes are removed when it becomes a pretty ruby color. Light citrus tones with a lively finish. Pairs nicely with potato salad, smoked meat, and party foods. “If you had Birdlegs, you’d blush too.”
Sunset
Red
“Sweet crimson siren songs strummed on old vines rising up past the sun down the moon's spine deep purple hourglass dreamers inside roping the night in on their plum-colored ride.”
Chambourcin, Cynthiana and Noiret blend, fermented in stainless steel, sometimes oak chips. Smooth blend, plum in color with spicy berry or cherry lifesaver flavors. Just right with spicy foods, BBQ pork steaks, and marinara.
